"I have always heard horror stories about apartment living, but after 6 months at Pinnacle Fort Union, I have only good views. Yes it's true that you can sometimes hear into the next apartment, but you have that anywhere. I have actually found the walls to be pretty thick, preventing a lot of sound from coming through. The office staff (Gayle and Tyler) and the Maintenance staff (Mike and Lenny) are all great to work with. They are friendly, fast, and very good at their jobs. I had some minor plumbing problems when I first moved in, but I placed a call to the maintenance guys and they came up (normally within an hour or so) and fixed it right away. I have had no problems since. Gayle and Tyler are very nice as well, and always have an open door. I have never had a problem getting a response from them when needed. The grounds are always clean (although it is up to each homeowner to clean up after their dogs) and the mountain views are amazing. The apartments have nice open floor plans and there is plenty of storage inside (plus a storage room on each patio). I have found most of the neighbors to be extremely friendly. The one-car garages are fantastic in the winter and there is ample covered parking as well. Most importantly, since there is a local police station right next door, I have seen no crime since I moved here. No cars broken into, no drugs, nothing (and I moved here from Atlanta, so I am always alert to those things). My only complaint is that my kitchen is too small (but I am a chef, so what do you expect). All in all, I have found this to be a fantastic complex to live in, and will gladly be here for several years." (2009)
