SAN ANTONIO TEXAS

Quarry Townhome Apartments
" I have lived in the Quarry Townhomes for 4 years. The complex is exceptionally well maintained. The staff is cheerful and very professional ...and VERY RESPONSIVE to any issues that might arise! I am so proud to live here. " (2010)

WEBSTER, TEXAS

Huntley Apartments
" My apartment was burglarized. My door was left open the two days that I was gone. This apartment’s door is directly seen by a good percentage of the tenants and manger’s staff. My neighbor was also burglarized. This is not a safe place to live. One tenant was even burglarized when he was asleep in his bed. The gates for this apartment complex only work half of the time." (2009)

SEABROOK, TEXAS

Seatree Apartments
"Seatree has the best maintenance team. They are always so friendly when asked to fix something in my apt and it is usually done the same day. I have lived in several apts and Seatree is by far the best. I also like the fact that my neighbor has lived here more than 15 years. Keep up the good work Seatree."(2009)

Vista Shores Apartments
"Changed the name the Vista Shores but I won't them try to our run their reputation. First off, they only have 3 maintenance men. They are only at about half occupancy can't even handle that. It takes forever for them to show up for the job and when they do show up they don't do a good job. I watch them get apartments ready for new residents and heaven forbid I have a maintenance issue. They tell me I have to wait because they are too busy getting apartments ready for newcomers. The parking lot floods. They refuse to clean the drains to prevent flooding. Everything is falling apart. It is like they used glue to put things together and now the glue has worn off. I have complained and complained but when i go to the office to to check the status there is usually no record of a work order being opened. "(2010)

HUNTSVILLE, TEXAS

Cornerstone Apartments
"Just want to say Thank you for the service I was provided at my new apartment in Cornerstone Apartments. Cornerstone apartment is is located in Huntsville, TX. I just moved in and like most apartments i got a form to fill out about the things I wanted to mark down about the apartment so I wouldn't be charged at a later time. There was just a few things on my list but I had a bit of trouble with a few things in particular. When I took my list to the office I was pleasantly surprised to see that someone from their maintenance staff was there to fix my concerns that same day. What a surprise? I've always turned those forms in but rarely ever see someone that fast. Thanks Cornerstone for a great experience so far. "(2009)

HALTOM CITY, TEXAS

The Ranch at Fossil Creek Apartments
"The Ranch at Fossil Creek in Fort Worth Texas, USA, has been the worst place to visit by far. As a visitor having dinner with my son, who is a new resident, I was shocked to walk outside and find that my car had been towed. There were no signs saying I couldn't park where I did. There were no signs for visitor's designated parking at the entrance or anywhere that we found (even when searching two days later when it was light out). The apartment complex said that residents sign an addendum to the lease contract saying they will tell visitors where they can and cannot park. The complex is responsible for posting signs as to where visitors can and cannot park NOT the residents. Two hours and over $200 later we got our car back but we were bullied, laughed at and intimidated by the towers. This appears to be a SCAM with the tow-ers and The Ranch at Fossil Creek. "(2009)

DALLAS, TEXAS

The Park on Greenville Apartments
"I have lived here for over 4 years and have had nothing but grief and heartache with the management. Over 4 years I have N E V E R been late on rent yet I constantly get threatening notices "PAY OR GET OUT IN 3 DAYS" ! 9 Times I have gotten these notices and EVERY SINGLE TIME it was their mistake , as I have already paid my share. The booking problems are due to the accountant writing down complaints etc on notepads instead of documenting them in a computer ( the way it should be done ) I was in the office today Friday Nov. 20'th 2009 and was told by Shay , I "need to learn how to count and do simple math" and after proving that SHE made the mistake she was so angry and embarrassed she implied that I was a racist ! I have many different cultures and races of people in my family and am shocked by the unprofessional behavior and lack of service or ANY type of help from the management on The Park On Greenville. I have asked for repairs on my garbage disposal 7 months ago and they have NOT repaired it. I also asked to repair a very dangerous railing that is falling apart and that has NOT been repaired. The management is racist and threaten their tenants using fear tactics so that we wont stand up to them. I am an veteran of the United States military and do not scare easy. I will be filing a lawsuit and calling Better Business Bureau along with the city health inspectors and city ordinance committee. I have also decided to call and write local press media about these problems daily until I get this apartment exposed for the racist unprofessional fear mongers that they are. I am moving out in few months and beg anyone considering renting from The Park on Greenville to RUN THE OTHER DIRECTION ! If not from the HORRIBLE management from the gunshots and robberies that occur here EVERY SINGLE WEEK ! ! !"(2009)

The Biltmore Apartments
"The office staff is rude and doesn't care about your issues. The apartments are old and thus falling apart. The bottom fell through in one of my bottom kitchen cupboards in my apartment and the light fixture fell through the ceiling in my neighbor's apartment. The water pressure is horrible and we rarely have hot water in our apartment. Forget about taking a shower because the water pressure fluctuates wildly as well as the temperature from hot to cold. The dumpster is all the way at the end of the parking lot of the complex so you have to drag your trash across the complex or you have to put it in your car and drive it to the dumpster. It is absolutely not handicap accessible, as it has flights of stairs even to get to the lower levels of many of the apartments. The gate is always broken and people just push it open or wait for you to open it and then go in behind you. Luckily I am getting out next month. I would never recommend this place to anyone. "(2009)

Pointe at Stone Canyon Apartments
"Management: I’ve lived here for 3 years and we’re on our 4th manager! None of them have been very happy or helpful people and from my experience they have no control or influence over their maintenance staff. They want one thing...your money. Maintenance: Generally lazy...bordering on incompetent. But don’t piss them off or you could find your vehicle vandalized, you tires punctured or worse. BEWARE!! Grounds: They’ve done a “facelift” on the front of the complex...but don’t let the fresh paint and flowers fool you. On the interior not much has been done. The dead bushes in front of my apartment were finally pulled up but never replaced. It looks somewhat barren. They replace the plants around the pool frequently...probably because maintenance forgets to water them and they usually die. As for the swimming pool...I call it the bathing pool. I never dared to dive in. Condition: This place is old. Built in 1977. My building has foundation issues as can be seen from the cracks in my walls. I’ve experienced several water leaks...one in the bathroom, one from the kitchen sink and one mystery leak that must have come from the apartment next door or the one above. Most of the outdoor stairwells are rusting with paint flaking off profusely. We have also had several power outages at this complex that lasted for over 24 hours even though the surrounding complexes had power restored in a couple of hours. There was never an explaination for this. They have been installing new appliances but I was told that they are reserved for the newer tenants...not for those of us who continue paying higher rent prices. Must be a “move in” incentive. Oh...did I forget to mention the roaches? Security: There are security gates although they are sometimes stuck in the open position. My friends truck was broken into while he was staying here and the dash was ripped out and his music system was stolen. A month ago there was loud noise and door banging out by the pool. The next day, police were everywhere and a lady who was living upstairs was...well, gone. She never returned. There was no mention of it by the complex. No security notice distributed...nothing. Just today, I awoke to find the police arresting a person who recently moved in across from me. Later on the evening news I recognized him. He had been arrested as one of the prime suspects in the murder of a young student from a nearby college. It seems that they will rent to anyone...as long as you have...the money. I am leaving this place at the end of the month and I can hardly wait to get out of here! Think carefully before you sign a lease with this company. There are truely much nicer and safer places to live."(2009)

SPRING, TEXAS

Wildwood Forest Apartments
"This complax is a horrible place to live You wont fell secure and you will have your vechile broken into as well as your apartment. The office staff does not care about its tenants and is totally unwilling to help in any fashion to keeps its tenants informed of security issues."(2009)

CLUTE, TEXAS

Ashton Oaks Apartments
"I walked into Ashton Oaks and was greeted by wonderful people in the office. I leased there based on that. When greeted by warm smiles, it makes you feel good."(2009)

LUBBOK, TEXAS

Grove Apartments
"This complex is a huge joke!! The entire staff is college students working part time. Doors don't fit so they won't lock, furniture is delivered broken and never fixed. Do not trust the website. the complex is NOTHING like they advertise!!!

DENTON, TEXAS

Arbors At Denton Apartments
"I currently live at the Arbors of Denton, in Denton TX. Never move here. I signed a lease for a specific bedroom, verified the apartment number, and The Arbors has told me that I have to move into a different building and different room (without a walk-in closet) at MY OWN MOVING EXPENSE ... I have had multiple problems over the last year, and renewing my lease was the worst thing to do ... I highly recommend that you stay away from this apartment complex. And this was just the tip of the iceburg."(2009)

Waterford At Spencer Oaks Apartments
"The office staff is rude, untrained, and very inconsiderate. The staff lies, you WILL NOT GET YOUR DEPOSIT BACK NO MATTER WHAT!!!! WE never missed rent and got charged continuos late fees because the staff lost the check! I am still receiving calls from them trying to get more money out of me when they already got $522, my deposit, pet deposit and some. The maintenance guys are careless, messy, and take forever. If the office staff is in the office during office hours they are completely RUDE. They change their hours weekly and that's when they don't leave early anyway. Forget about picking up packages. I am so disappointed in all of it. The floors are thin so forget about not hearing your elephant upstairs neighbors. The trash dumpster is at the side of the complex so you either have to treck across the complex with heavy trash or you have to put it in your car and drive it! Electic bills are so steep because the windows are all broken and they arent sealed.... Save your money. Don't move into this hell hole. The WORST PLACE I HAVE EVER LIVED"(2009)

EL PASO, TEXAS

Las Lomas Apartments
"A horrible place to live. The buildings have no insulation between floors so everything is heard. The pipes are really old so expect your water to be turned off once a month because some apartment has a leak and they have to turn off everyone's water to fix it. Pets are allowed but no enforcement to curbing pets so watch your step there is poop everywhere. They rent mostly to college kids who want to party all night. When you complain to management they say call the police and all they will do is leave a note on neighbors door that is easily ignored. The manager is always hiding. I lived her a year before I met ... the manager. Laundry room is a joke the company that runs it does a horrible job. The machines are constantly broken and when you call to complain someone will be there that week maybe and you never get offered your money back. Don't be fooled by the guard shack and gates because the guard is hardly ever there and they don't walk the property. So lots of people get their cars keyed, windows broken and in one case I saw a car vandalized with bright orange paint. "(2009)

Las Lomas Apartments
"I read the recent review posted about Las Lomas Apartments and I strongly disagree. I have lived here for two years and I am extremely comfortable. Although the apartments are a bit older, they are kept up quite well. Of course as with every apartment sometimes there are emergencies, such as water leaks, but the Leasing Office always accommodates accordingly. They always go that extra mile to make me feel at home. The Maintenance Staff is also very helpful. My requests are always completed in a timely manner. "(2009)

ARLINGTON, TEXAS

Collins Pointe
"Collins Pointe is a great place to live, it was taken over by a new company and its great. The office staff , and the maintenance jump on any request you ask. "(2009)

MESQUITE, TEXAS

Country Club Apartments
"Country Club Apartments in Mesquite, TX are a waste of life. This will be a section 8 complex within 24 months. It still won't be worth the price. "(2009)

FORT WORTH, TEXAS

Fossil Ridge Apartments
"I moved into Fossil Ridge not too long ago and I just want to compliment the staff in the office for their great efforts towards making me feel welcome at my new community. Even now after I've moved in I still receive complimentary calls"(2009)

Chisholm Trail Townhomes
"I have to say is the worst place to live. Where do I begin? The manager is the worst, she doesn't care if its ninety degrees inside your house in the middle of the summer ... She told my neighbor yesterday who has Committed to Chisolm trail for two years.. There are issues with hot water heater lasts ten minutes.... as well as when our heater went out he told us to flip the breaker, the breaker sparked and the manager decided to let us know we shouldn't be scared and to go mess with the breaker box .... all in all its a bad place to live."
(2009)

HOUSTON, TEXAS

Peppermill Place Apartments
"I lived at Peppermill Place for about 14 months the experience at first was great, back in 2008 when they had the old management. Things would get resolved QUICKLY! New management came along and didn't or should I say DOES NOT I REPEAT DOES NOT CARE ABOUT ITS TENANTS but only the money they make and try to look good while doing it. Maintenance requests where NEVER met, Peppermill had a New roof before I moved out which were never met, There was no need for a new roof, BIG INSURANCE SCAM!!!!! Brittany says she does her job but if the girl can not pick up a phone much less send an email then what good is she????? Through out these long months she was supposedly ontop of it but just recently she said Nov. 1 that corporate back in Florida didn't have my info in order to send my check out????!!!! So what did Britanny do this whole time??? Probably on a smoke break which is all I ever saw living there!!! Its the worst place ever!!! You will be taking a risk if you decide to live there. My sons grandmother had moved in to the Sunbury side and had to stay at a relatives place because their stove didn't work, the toilet would over flow amongst other things, until I stepped in a met with management. I'm sure they took care of them quickly being that they know me by now. I mean why wouldn't they remember me after 2 years???? HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE PLACE don't let the landscaping and scenery fool you!"(2009)

Stoney Brook Apartments
"Our experience at this apartment was horrible. We got our brand new BBQ grill stolen. Our car got broken into and the speakers were stolen. A lady got mugged. And just recently our friends who still live there (and our moving out) got there apartment broken into EVERYTHING got stolen.... Gates always open, bums outside the apartment, and people banging at your door trying to break in at 2 AM. There is NO parking so you always have to park on the street. The new manager is EXTREMELY RUDE." (2009)

Alexan Bunker Hill Apartments
"The management staff is horrible.... While renting the apartment they say modern amenities and for the rent you pay you get nothing. When Hurricane Ike was there management was not there to talk to residents. Recently there was fire in the building and till now no one knows the reason why it happened. I would recommend no one to take this Apartment"(2008)

  WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS

Lions Court
"I have nothing but positive comments about Lions Court! I came here, from a peculiar situation, where I needed a place to live, that accepted pets, within a matter of a day or two. "K" and "C" (our wonderful staff here) not only made certain that I had a unit available the next day, they made certain that I got a great moving in deal to boot, and felt more than welcome moving in there....even though THEY had had to bend over backwards to make it happen! Whenever I've had a maintenance problem, they have someone up here asap to fix it. When my a/c went out on Sunday evening, and I waited to the next day (during normal business hours) to report it, I was asked why I didn't call in their maintenance guys the prior evening' Never mind it would cost them some "golden time", they were more concerned that I was comfortable during the 90 degree June heat! Bottom line? This place is great! While some might consider Lions Court to be in a "bad" section of town, I have had ZERO problems in the year and a half I've lived here, and have thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. If you want to live like a hermit, and never interact with your neighbors, you're more than welcome to do so. If you want to be part of a community, you're also more than welcome to do that, and will enjoy meeting and greeting your neighbors during the monthly resident party held here. For the location, the quality of this place and the price, you will NOT beat the deal offered here! ($525 for a 2BR/1.5BATH unit, with covered parking, laundry connections and all appliances) "(2008)
