"This address would be terrific if it weren't for: crummy interiors, old
appliances, zero noise insulation between units, odd residents, ODDER residents
in the two buildings flanking this one, a SUICIDE in the public area between
#811 and #817 4th St. in mid-2008, unaccountable sewage odors in the
apartments... You get the picture. Plus declining rents in Santa Monica are
resulting in lower standards for tenants in this area. You'll love this
building if you are deaf, dumb & blind, and have no sense of smell!"
